AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR LICENSED
INTERNATIONAL BOARD CERTIFIED LACTATION CONSULTANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Social Services, to the extent permissible under federal 2
law, to provide Medicaid coverage for Licensed International Board 3
Certified Lactation Consultants. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require Medicaid coverage consistent with federal law for Licensed
International Board Certified Lactation Consultants.
