AN ACT DEFINING SQUATTER AND ESTABLISHING A PROCESS TO
EVICT A SQUATTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 47 of the general statutes be amended to define "squatter" 1
as an individual occupying a property without the legal right to do so 2
and to provide that a squatter may be removed from such property 3
upon the landlord's affidavit in the same manner as an execution in a 4
summary process eviction. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To define a squatter and establish a process to evict a squatter.
