AN ACT INCLUDING ACCESSORY APARTMENTS IN THE
CALCULATION OF THE THRESHOLD FOR EXEMPTION FROM THE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING APPEALS PROCEDURE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to include in 1
the calculation of the ten-per-cent threshold for exemption from the 2
affordable housing appeals procedure any accessory apartment, 3
regardless of deed restriction. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To include accessory apartments in the calculation of the threshold for
exemption from the affordable housing appeals procedure.
