AN ACT PROHIBITING HEALTH CARRIERS FROM USING PREMIUMS TO ENGAGE IN LOBBYING ACTIVITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any 1 health carrier from using premiums to engage in lobbying activities 2 with regard to governmental regulation of health insurance. 3 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit any health carrier from using premiums to engage in lobbying activities with regard to governmental regulation of health insurance.
