AN ACT LOWERING THE FEES CHARGED BY THE OFFICE OF THE
SECRETARY OF THE STATE FOR OBTAINING AN APOSTILLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 33 of the general statutes be amended to lower the fee 1
charged for the issuance of an apostille by the Office of the Secretary of 2
the State from forty dollars to an amount that is more closely aligned 3
with the fees charged in neighboring states. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of obtaining an apostille in the state.
