AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
VETERANS AFFAIRS FOR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS TO PROMOTE
AWARENESS OF MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
RESOURCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ be appropriated to the Department of Veterans 1
Affairs from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, 2
to provide funding for advertising campaigns to promote awareness of 3
mental and behavioral health resources available to veterans, including 4
the 9-8-8 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To appropriate funds to the Department of Veterans Affairs for
purposes of advertising campaigns to promote awareness of mental and
behavioral health resources available to veterans.
