AN ACT INCREASING THE NOTICE PERIOD TO WITHDRAW FROM A
COOPERATIVE ARRANGEMENT BETWEEN BOARDS OF
EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-158a of the general statutes be amended to require 1
any board of education that has agreed to cooperative arrangements 2
with any other board of education to provide three years' notice to 3
withdraw from such agreement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require three years', rather than one year, notice for a board of
education to withdraw from an agreement for cooperative
arrangements with any other board of education.
