AN ACT ESTABLISHING A RECYCLING MARKET DEVELOPMENT
ACTION PLAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a recycling market 1
development action plan to address the remainder of unsorted waste 2
and divert it from landfills while reducing municipal costs and the 3
shipping of such waste out of state, as well as exploring new processes 4
and innovative ways of converting waste to a new usable product. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To address the remainder of unsorted waste in the state.
