AN ACT CONCERNING NIPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale of nips 1
beginning January 1, 2026, or, in the alternative, include such nip bottles 2
in the state's bottle bill program. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To remove a persistent source of litter in municipalities and reduce a
concealable source of alcohol.
