AN ACT EXEMPTING SOLAR CARPORTS OR CANOPIES FROM THE
STATE BUILDING CODE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exempt solar photovoltaic 1
carports or canopies from compliance with the provisions of the State 2
Building Code. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt solar photovoltaic carports or canopies from compliance
with the provisions of the State Building Code.
