AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO
MUNICIPALITIES FOR REVENUE LOSS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
VETERANS PROPERTY TAX CREDIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-81 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
state to reimburse each municipality fifty per cent of the revenue loss 2
caused by a property tax exemption for veterans pursuant to 3
subdivision (83) of section 12-81 of the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the state to partially reimburse municipalities for the cost
associated with administering the veterans' property tax credit.
