AN ACT CONCERNING FALSE ACCUSATIONS OF CRIMINAL
ACTIVITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that if a person is 1
found guilty of falsely accusing another person of having committed a 2
crime, that the accuser be liable for any loss of income the falsely accused 3
person incurred. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit losses for people falsely accused of a crime.
