AN ACT CREATING A TIERED SYSTEM FOR THE CONNECTICUT
SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish a placement 1
plan that shall assess each sexual offender and determine whether the 2
offender is lowest risk, moderate risk or highest risk, and (2) undo 3
retroactive application of the sexual offender registration requirement 4
for individuals who fully served their sentences before the sexual 5
offender registry was established. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To create a tiered system for the sex offender registry.
