AN ACT CONCERNING UNDUE DELAY IN WORKERS'
COMPENSATION CLAIMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 568 of the general statutes be amended to limit an 1
employer or its insurance carrier's undue delay when an employee has 2
established that such employee's injury occurred in the course of such 3
employee's employment and such employee requires medically 4
necessary treatment or equipment. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To limit undue delay by an employer or its insurance carrier in
providing compensation for medically necessary treatment or
equipment.
