AN ACT CONCERNING REGIONAL COUNCILS OF GOVERNMENT 
AND INLAND WETLANDS REVIEW AND HISTORIC PROPERTY 
MAINTENANCE. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require that (1) for any 1 
proposed development that requires approval by municipal inland 2 
wetlands agencies in two or more municipalities that are members of 3 
the same regional council of government, each such agency shall consult 4 
with such council before approving or denying any application 5 
concerning such proposed development, and (2) each regional council 6 
of government hire building and housing code officials to inspect the 7 
conditions of historic buildings, and that such officials be empowered 8 
to utilize funds from the Community Development Block Grant 9 
Program to facilitate the maintenance or repair of historic buildings. 10 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require that (1) for any proposed development that requires approval
