AN ACT CONCERNING OVERFLOW BEDS AND TRIAGE ROOMS IN
HOMELESS SHELTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow coordinated action 1
networks to refer families to shelters that have overflow beds or triage 2
rooms available, provided each shelter manager or director has 3
decision-making authority concerning admittance of persons to the 4
shelter. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow coordinated action networks to refer families to shelters that

admittance of persons to the shelter.
