Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 19a-639a of the general statutes be amended to establish 1 an expedited certificate of need approval process for the acquisition of 2 new life-saving technologies, including, but not limited to, whole-body 3 magnetic resonance imaging machines. 4 Statement of Purpose: To promote the adoption of new life-saving technologies, including, but not limited to, whole-body magnetic resonance imaging machines, by establishing an expedited certificate of need approval process for the acquisition of such technologies.
