AN ACT CONCERNING MENOPAUSE AWARENESS AND
EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require (1) the Department 1
of Public Health to develop and distribute guidelines and educational 2
resources to health care providers regarding menopause, (2) health care 3
providers to complete at least one continuing education module 4
regarding menopause care and management, and (3) the Department of 5
Public Health to conduct a public awareness campaign to educate 6
residents regarding menopause. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To raise awareness and educate health care providers and the public
regarding menopause.
