AN ACT REQUIRING PATIENTS TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE
INTERNET AND THEIR PERSONAL CELLULAR TELEPHONE WHILE
IN THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT OF A PSYCHIATRIC
DISABILITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require hospitals to provide 1
a patient who is being treated for a psychiatric disability with access to 2
the Internet and their personal cellular telephone. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require hospitals to provide a patient who is being treated for a
psychiatric disability with access to the Internet and their personal
cellular telephone.
