AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND PUBLIC PROTECTION TO IMPLEMENT AND CREATE A MARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR THE PURPLE ALERT SYSTEM. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 29-1f of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to implement 2 and create a marketing campaign for the system of disseminating 3 information to assist in the location of a missing person who is eighteen 4 years of age or older and has a mental impairment, an intellectual 5 disability or other developmental disabilities, which is described in 6 subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of said section and known as the 7 "Purple Alert" system. 8 Statement of Purpose: To ensure that the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection implements and creates a marketing campaign for the "Purple Alert" system.
