AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE USE OF GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY TO TRACK AND RESPOND TO OPIOID OVERDOSES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That a task force be established to study how global positioning 1 system technology can be utilized by police officers, firefighters, 2 emergency medical services personnel and public health officials to 3 track and respond to opioid overdoses. 4 Statement of Purpose: To create a task force to study how the use of global positioning system technology may assist first responders in combating opioid overdoses.
