AN ACT CONCERNING POLICE PURSUITS OF INDIVIDUALS
SUSPECTED OF COMMITTING CERTAIN PROPERTY CRIMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 104 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Police Officer Standards and Training Council to revise the model 2
pursuit policy to allow police officers to pursue individuals suspected 3
of committing certain property crimes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To better protect the public by allowing police officers to pursue
individuals suspected of committing certain property crimes.
