AN ACT EXPLORING A POTENTIAL SALE OF THE NEW LONDON
STATE PIER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Transportation, in collaboration with the 1
Connecticut Port Authority, identify any potential purchasers of the 2
New London State Pier that can demonstrate (1) sufficient resources to 3
fix the pier using private resources, (2) sufficient experience operating 4
commercial pier operations, and (3) the ability to generate revenue for 5
the state tax base. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To explore a potential sale of the New London State Pier.
