AN ACT CONCERNING THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE AND VOTING RIGHTS OF UNHOUSED INDIVIDUALS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary 1 of the State to develop a state-wide standardized policy affording 2 unhoused individuals and others without permanent residential 3 addresses the ability to become registered voters and to vote in 4 primaries and elections. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require the Secretary of the State to develop a state-wide standardized policy regarding the voting rights of unhoused individuals and others without permanent residential addresses.
