AN ACT CONCERNING THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Workers' Compensation 1
Commission shall conduct a study of the workers' compensation system 2
in the state. Not later than January 1, 2026, the commission shall report 3
the results of the study, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4
4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General 5
Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public 6
employees. Such report may include the commission's 7
recommendations for legislation regarding the workers' compensation 8
system in the state. 9
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Workers' Compensation Commission to study the
workers' compensation system in the state.
