AN ACT CONCERNING THE BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES.

SUMMARY
This bill replaces the current $110 per diem payment for part-time
members of the Board of Pardons and Paroles with an amount that the
Department of Administrative Services (DAS) commissioner
determines. The commissioner’s set rate is subject to the Office of Policy
and Management (OPM) secretary’s approval. As under existing law,
part-time board members must also be reimbursed for necessary

By law, the board includes 10 full-time members and up to five part-
time members. The DAS commissioner sets the salary of full-time
members, subject to the OPM secretary’s approval.
