RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE
CONSTITUTION TO GRANT THE POWERS OF DIRECT INITIATIVE,
REFERENDUM AND RECALL.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That the Constitution of the state be amended to grant to the electors 1
of the state (1) the powers of direct initiative and referendum for 2
legislation and state constitutional amendments, and (2) the power to 3
recall state and local elected officials. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To grant electors of the state the powers of direct initiative, referendum
and recall.
