RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE
CONSTITUTION CONCERNING TWELVE -YEAR TERM LIMITS FOR
LEGISLATORS AND CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICERS.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be 1
amended to provide that no state senator or state representative shall 2
serve more than twelve years in such office and that section 2 of article 3
fourth of the Constitution of the state be amended to provide that no 4
constitutional officer shall serve more than twelve years in such office. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To impose term limits on certain state elected officials.
