AN ACT ALLOWING TRADESPEOPLE AND HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS TO CREDIT WORK EXPERIENCE TOWARD TEACHER CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to allow the work 1 experience of tradespeople and health care professionals to be credited 2 toward teacher certification requirements to teach a course related to 3 such person or professional's field. 4 Statement of Purpose: To allow tradespeople and health care professionals to receive credit for work experience toward earning a teacher certification to aid in filling a shortage in trade school teachers.
