AN ACT REQUIRING THE INCREASING OF THE BOATING SPEED
LIMIT ON WYASSUP LAKE IN NORTH STONINGTON DURING THE
SUMMER MONTHS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than April 1, 2026, 1
the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection shall adopt 2
regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the 3
general statutes, to increase the speed limit for boating during the 4
summer months on Wyassup Lake in the town of North Stonington. 5
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the boating speed limit on Wyassup Lake in North
Stonington during the summer months.
