AN ACT CONCERNING THE CARE, MAINTENANCE AND BOATING
SEASON FOR WYASSUP LAKE IN NORTH STONINGTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2025) The Commissioner of Energy 1
and Environmental Protection shall conduct any requisite survey of, 2
and provide for the care and maintenance of, Wyassup Lake, in the town 3
of North Stonington, and may enter into an agreement with any official, 4
agency or contractor, as defined in section 4-255 of the general statutes, 5
for the joint care and maintenance of such lake, provided any expense 6
for such care and maintenance shall be paid by the Department of 7
Energy and Environmental Protection. 8
Sec. 2. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision 9
of the general statutes, the period of time for operation of watercraft on 10
Wyassup Lake, in the town of North Stonington, shall be from the 11
Saturday prior to Memorial Day to the Saturday after Labor Day 12
weekend. 13
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2025 New section
