AN ACT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION'S
EVICTION OF FARMERS CONDUCTING FARMING ON STATE -
OWNED PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require legislative approval 1
of the decision of the Department of Energy and Environmental 2
Protection to evict any farmer who is conducting farming on state-3
owned property under an agreement with the state. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To protect farmers who permissibly farm on state-owned land.
