AN ACT CONCERNING THE BURNING OF MEDICAL WASTE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the burning of 1
medical waste by any facility that does not meet current standards of 2
the United States Environmental Protection Agency for the burning of 3
medical waste. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the burning of medical waste by facilities that do not meet
EPA standards for the burning of such waste.
