AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX
PENSIONS RECEIVED BY CERTAIN LAW ENFORCEMENT
PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1
from the personal income tax one hundred per cent of the pension 2
income received by a taxpayer from a career in state or municipal law 3
enforcement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the personal income tax one hundred per cent of the
pension income received by a taxpayer from a career in state or
municipal law enforcement.
