AN ACT INCREASING MEDICAID RATES FOR COMMUNITY
HOSPITALS IN RURAL AREAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to increase Medicaid 1
reimbursement rates for community hospitals in rural areas, as defined 2
by the Connecticut Office of Rural Health, to the corresponding 3
Medicare rates. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase Medicaid reimbursement rates for community hospitals in
rural areas to the corresponding Medicare rates.
