AN ACT PROHIBITING THE UNAUTHORIZED DISSEMINATION OF
SYNTHETIC INTIMATE IMAGES OF ANOTHER PERSON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to establish the crime 1
of unlawful unauthorized dissemination of a synthetic intimate image 2
of another person as a class A misdemeanor if the image is disseminated 3
to one person and a class D felony if the image is disseminated to more 4
than one person by means of an interactive computer service, 5
information service or telecommunications service. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit unauthorized dissemination of certain synthetic images.
