AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MOBILE HEALTH CLINIC PROGRAM AT
CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish a mobile health 1
clinic program that provides inmates at each correctional institution 2
with specialty care on a monthly basis using mobile health clinics, and 3
(2) require the Commissioner of Correction to report quarterly to the 4
joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance 5
of matters relating to public health and the judiciary regarding the 6
number of inmates treated by such mobile health clinics. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To improve health care of inmates.
