AN ACT REQUIRING THE RESULTS OF ANY WATER QUALITY TEST
ON A PRIVATE WELL SERVING A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OR A
SEMIPUBLIC WELL THAT ARE SUBMITTED TO A LOCAL HEALTH
AUTHORITY BE ACCESSIBLE BY THE PUBLIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the results 1
of any water quality test on a private well serving a residential property 2
or a semipublic well that are submitted to a local health authority be 3
accessible by the public. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the public disclosure of water quality tests on certain wells.
