AN ACT ENSURING THE EQUITABLE INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC
VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 242 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Transportation to equitably distribute any state or 2
federal money received for the installation of electric vehicle charging 3
stations to ensure an adequate number of such stations are installed in 4
rural areas. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure an adequate number of electric vehicle charging stations are
installed in rural areas.
