AN ACT PROHIBITING THE UNSOLICITED PROVISION OF
ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
unsolicited mailing, delivery or other provision of absentee ballot 2
applications by specifying that an absentee ballot application may only 3
be provided to an elector upon such elector's request for such 4
application. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the unsolicited provision of absentee ballot applications.
