AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF A PENSION BUYOUT PLAN FOR
STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Office of Policy 1
and Management to study the feasibility and benefit to taxpayers of 2
offering state employees a pension buyout by offering an advance cash 3
payment based on the employee's estimated lifetime pension benefits. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Office of Policy Management to study a state employee
pension buyout plan.
