AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SIGN LANGUAGE
INTERPRETER SERVICES AT ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS AND
NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS MEETINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Public Health, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2
2026, for the purpose of providing sign language interpreter services at 3
Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To promote inclusivity and equal access to addiction recovery services
in alignment with the state's commitment to support public health and
enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
