AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST, NUCLEAR MEDICINE
TECHNOLOGIST AND RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER
WORKFORCE SHORTAGE TASK FORCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to implement the 1
recommendations of the radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine 2
technologist and respiratory care practitioner workforce shortage task 3
force, including, but not limited to, recommendations concerning 4
student loan and tuition assistance, part-time and fast-track educational 5
program options for students, grant programs for educational programs 6
and recruitment and marketing support to attract prospective students. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To implement the recommendations of the radiologic technologist,
nuclear medicine technologist and respiratory care practitioner
workforce shortage task force.
