AN ACT CONCERNING EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT BOARDING
AND CROWDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to address 1
emergency department boarding and crowding by establishing quality 2
criteria, public reporting and state-wide bed capacity and addressing 3
the most common causes of inpatient discharge delays. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To address emergency department boarding and crowding.
