AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE OR MUNICIPAL FAIR RENT
COMMISSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the creation 1
of any state or municipal fair rent commission or other authority that 2
interferes with private rental contracts and agreements and to require 3
the termination of any such existing commission or authority. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit state or municipal fair rent commissions.
