AN ACT CONCERNING JUVENILES CHARGED WITH LARCENY
INVOLVING THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 46b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
automatic transfer to criminal court of a case of a juvenile charged with 2
larceny involving theft of a motor vehicle when the juvenile has at least 3
two prior adjudications or convictions for a felony and to change the 4
factors a court must consider when determining whether to transfer a 5
case involving a juvenile charged with certain felonies. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To deter auto thefts.
