AN ACT CONCERNING DETENTION OF A JUVENILE PRIOR TO
ARRAIGNMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 46b of the general statutes be amended to allow detention 1
of a juvenile prior to arraignment. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To provide law enforcement additional tools to combat juvenile crime.
