AN ACT ALLOWING THE HIRING OF PRIVATE BUILDING
INSPECTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 29 of the general statutes be amended to allow a builder to 1
hire a private licensed building inspector to inspect a building and 2
submit such inspector's report to the municipality, which shall be 3
deemed approved upon submission, in lieu of requiring a building 4
inspector employed by such municipality to inspect such building. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a builder to hire a private building inspector in lieu of requiring
an inspection by a building inspector employed by a municipality.
