AN ACT RESTORING A TERM OF IMPRISONMENT NOT TO EXCEED
THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE DAYS AS THE MAXIMUM TERM OF
IMPRISONMENT FOR A MISDEMEANOR OFFENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53a-36a of the general statutes be repealed in order to 1
restore a term of imprisonment not to exceed three hundred sixty-five 2
days as the maximum term of imprisonment for a misdemeanor offense. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To restore a term of imprisonment not to exceed three hundred sixty-
five days as the maximum term of imprisonment for a misdemeanor
offense.
