AN ACT CONCERNING AUTOMATIC ELECTRONIC LOCKS IN
SCHOOL CLASSROOMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Education to install and maintain automatic electronic 2
locks in school classrooms. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the children and staff in a classroom in the event of a
lockdown or emergency.
